Vehicles in Camp
In general, vehicles are not permitted to be driven around camp. They are to be kept in the designated parking lot in each camp. No vehicles may be left at the campsites. Special provisions can be made for medical conditions upon consultation with the Camp Director.

Release of Campers
Campers are expected to travel to camp with the members of their home unit, under the provisions made by that unit's leadership. It is expected that campers will arrive on Sunday, and depart on either Friday or Saturday. On occasion, circumstances may dictate that campers depart camp in the middle of the week. If this is the case, campers will be released only to their legal parent or guardian. Individuals wishing to sign a Scout out of camp should first go to the camp office and speak to the Camp Director.

Signing Out of Camp
If a camper, leader or staff member must leave camp property during their stay at TMR, they are required to first visit the camp office, and sign out with the Office Manager. Upon their return, they must again go to the office to sign back in.

Youth Protection Guidelines
Accountability for youth members of the BSA should be the first priority of unit leaders. Leaders must know where their Scouts are at all times. Further, Scouts must always be within sight and sound of a leader or another Scout.

It is the policy of the Greater New York Councils, Boy Scouts of America, that a child (camper) shall not be deprived of food, isolated or subjected to corporal punishment or abusive physical exercise as a means of punishment by leaders, staff or other campers. Any violation, suspected or known, should immediately be brought to the attention of key camp leadership. Similarly, any person who has reasonable cause to believe that a child (camper) has been or is being subjected to any form of hitting, corporal punishment, abusive language or ridicule, or harsh, humiliating or frightening treatment, or any kind of child abuse or neglect is required to report the situation to key camp leadership immediately. Child Abuse (Physical, Sexual, Emotional or Neglect) of any kind is totally unacceptable in any Scout Camp. Knowledge of any abuse must be reported to the Camp Director immediately!

Youth Protection Guidelines Training will be offered to all leaders within the first 24 hours of their stay at camp (See your Camp Commissioner for details specific to your camp.)
