Key Staff

The Camp Keowa Key Staff Team is very excited about the 2008 Camp Keowa Season. Keowa has now entered our 'Golden Era' and have again assembled the finest staff around, committed to providing a quality experience.

[Prior to July 1st, all key staff members are available via email. Afterwards, each can be reached during the summer camp season at the Camp Office: (845)-252-2027.]

Danny Julis, Camp Director

Daniel Julis will serve as the Keowa Camp Director in 2008, making a welcome return to the camp he previously served for four summers. Daniel is proud to be at the helm of Keowa at a time introducing many exciting additions added for this season. Daniel believes Keowa is poised to become the premier dining hall camp facility in the country. As a yearlong employee of the Greater New York Councils, Daniel is excited to usher Keowa into its “Golden Era”.

Scott Dellosso, Program Director

Scott will be returning for his second year as the Keowa Program Director. This will be his eighth year on camp staff, and his 'lucky thirteenth' year coming to Keowa. His experience includes many roles in camp. He developed Camp Keowa's extremely successful Dan Beard Society program, served as a commissioner, as well as various waterfront positions. He is excited for the summer, and is once again proud to bring the Spirit of the Thunderbird to every scout and leader that comes to camp.

Lou Farragher, Ranger

As Ranger of Camp Keowa, Lou works closely with the Camp Leadership and Services Staff to provide some of the best facilities available at Ten Mile River. Lou is a master electrician, carpenter, mechanic, and forester. Lou is married and has two beautiful children.
