Andrew Nam will be returning as the Keowa Camp Director for 2012 and is looking forward to an amazing opportunity to serve the scouting community. With a summer behind him, he is excited to be continuing the true excellence we deliver at Camp Keowa. Andrew has been part of the scouting program for over fourteen years with Troop 1 of Manhattan, New York, where he also earned his Eagle Scout Award. Once he became an adult leader, he honorably served as an Assistant Scoutmaster until two years ago, when the Troop Committee unanimously elected him to become the Scoutmaster. Since then, he has actively participated in organizing a Venturing Crew and Cub Pack, in extension of the Troop program which consists of over fifty youth in total. Starting in September of 2011, Andrew joined the Scouting Profession as a District Executive for Manhattan in the Big apple District. Andrew is excited to be part of the Keowa Team in order to bring an excellent scouting experience to the overall performance of camp.
