Important Reminders

Medical Forms

All Staff Meeting 

The TMR All-Hands Staff Meeting is June 21, 2008 at Alpine Scout Camp from 8:00AM until 1:00PM in the Ohrbach Arena. All Staff Members need to be there as we will be doing CPR and First Aid training. If you cannot attend you must let Danny or Scott know ASAP.

Paper Work

Find all Important Hiring Forms.

All NEW STAFF need the following paperwork:

·      Completed Staff Application
·      Signed Applicant statement
·      3 letters of reference
·      W-4
·      I-9 with 2 valid forms of ID (see back of form)
·      Working Papers (under 18 only)
·      Medical Form

All RETURNING STAFF need the following paperwork:

·      Completed Staff Applications
·      Signed Applicant statement
·      W-4 (updated)
·      Working Papers (under 18 only)
·      Medical Form

NATIONAL CAMP SCHOOL

For those senior staff members attending the National Camp School, you must follow this link to complete the application and return it to your Camp Director ASAP. To sign up for NCS, if you are unsure as to whether you are required to attend NCS or have questions about NCS, contact your Camp Director.

Staff Uniform Ordering

Keowa Staffman Need:

Item	Description
Scout Shorts
Scout Socks
TMR Staff Polo Shirts	First year staffman will be provided free of charge with two Class B polo shirts. Returning staffman will recieve one.
Keowa Staff Belt	This will be the same belt as last year and is a REQUIRED part of the uniform. If you do not already have a Keowa Staff Belt, please purchase one through the uniform ordering store.
Class A Uniform Shirt
Staff Hat	A Staff Hat will be provided to you free of charge. It is a required part of the uniform.

It is up to you how many shirts, etc. you want for the summer. The Class B Uniform (socks, shorts, belt, staff polo shirt, hat) is work Monday through Friday, all day except dinner. The Class A Uniform (socks, shorts, belt, class A uniform scout shirt, hat) is worn every dinner and all day Sunday.

Make sure you order off of our TMR Staff Store, we give you MAJOR discounts.

Important Dates:

Event	Date	Description
Brooklyn OA/Work Weekend	May 16-18	All staff is welcome to come help the OA this weekend.  They will be helping us put up canvas, setting up sites and other work projects.
Queens OA/Work Weekend	May 23-25	All staff is welcome to come help the OA this weekend.  They will be helping us put up canvas, setting up sites and other work projects.
Keowa Work Weekend TMR Wilderness Engineering Society I	June 6 -8	Danny and Scott are asking as many staffmen as possible to come to this work weekend.  We will be working in Keowa on some major projects for the summer - meals provided. This weekend has also proven to be an extremely fun weekend in the past.
Keowa Work Weekend TMR Wilderness Engineering Society II	June 13-15	If you cannot make the previous work weekend, you may come this weekend. However, all staff are invited and encouraged to attend this weekend as well.
TMR All-Hands Staff Meeting Camp Alpine	June 21	Required by all staff. This is a Reservation wide event, which means other TMR camps will be in attendance. Your uniform orders will be distributed, you will be trained and certified, and it is very important not to miss.
Senior Staff Arrival	June 23	All Senior Staff report to camp by 12:00 PM, senior staff includes: Camp Director, Program Director, Director of Operations, Commissioners, Business Manager and All Area Directors.
Staff Arrival	June 25	All other staff report to camp by 2:00 PM
Expected Departure (pending closing)	August 20	This is our expected departure. However, if weather or other circumstances intervene, you may be expected to stay for the remainder of your contract.
Contracts End	August 22	This is the when your contract expires. We may keep you at camp until this day, if necessary.
