Camp Ranachqua is set deep into the property on quite Lake Nianque. The Ranachqua staff ensure every Scout who comes into camp has the best possible experience, they each work closely with their Scouts and classes. The newly renovated Lake Nianque dining hall features views of the field and lake and is the hub of all activity in camp! At the Performing Arts Center campers have the opportunity to take part in Theater productions, Music, Game Design and Public Speaking! A Scoutcraft and Trade Skills area trains Scouts in Knots, Lashing, Welding and Automotive Maintenance during their stay in camp. Each site in camp Ranachqua is unique, and many feature lean-tos or small cabins. Scouts can swim, row, canoe, kayak, sail, and even motorboat on Lake Nianque in the aquatics Area.
The compact layout of the camp has been viewed as one of its great strengths, making it easy for Scouts to move between program areas and easy for leaders to keep an eye on all activities.
