The Arch Bridge leanto site represents an attractive opportunity to units, primarily because of its proximity to the Delaware River. The site, complete with 4 leantos surrounding a large clearing in the center, is located directly adjacent to the Delaware River, and provides direct access to enter and exit the river. Many units make use of the site as a convenient place to stop while canoeing down the river.
Besides its functional use, the site is extremely picturesque, located at the point where the Ten Mile River (a tributary) empties into the Delaware River. A stone bridge was built over the Ten Mile River, enabling access to the Arch Bridge site, and other campsites further down the road. The famous TMR Red Dot Trail, which connects the entire reservation, passes by the Arch Bridge site, making it an excellent place to stop while hiking along the trail.
