Located in the Headquarters area, just across from the Hearst Cabins, the HQ Leantos are perfect for a mid-sized to large unit. Having been recently repaired, re-roofed and stained, these 9 leantos are gathered in a wooded area, with sufficient clear space for additional tenting and program activities. Electricity is available in these leantos, further expanding the possibilities for activities that can take place. The famous TMR Red Dot Trail, which connects the entire reservation, passes by the Headquarters area, making it an excellent place to stop while hiking along the trail. The HQ leantos are just a short walk from Turnpike Pond, which promises some spectacular scenery and great fishing.

Typically, this season spans the end of November and the beginning of December.
