The Suanhacky Lodge House is one of the newest cabin facilities to
become available for year-round camping use. Located adjecent to
Crystal Lake, in the old Camp Lakeside, the Lodge House has been
significantly renovated. The building now sleeps up to 14 people and
has a kitchenette with a stovetop and refrigerator. This cabin is great
for a small to mid-sized troop. Folding tables and chairs are also
available. Many units also use the Lodge House as a place to stay while
visiting one of the local ski
mountains in the winter. With its proximity to Crystal Lake, this
site promises a spectacular sunrise and hours of enjoyment for avid
fishermen.

Restroom Type: Latrine Propane Usage Fee: $1.25 per pound There is no local water source at this cabin; units are responsible to bring in their water. Please be sure to build fires only in the rear of the cabin. Fires are not permitted in front of the cabin. Note: All Ten Mile River facilities are completely closed to visitors during the Sullivan County Hunting Season each year. Typically, this season spans the end of November and the beginning of December. If you are interested in visiting TMR during this time period, call the reservations hotline to ensure that the weekend when you would like to come is not during hunting season.
